JEFFREY HOBBY - CEO

Jeff founded Dunmoore in 2007, spotting the opportunity to take advantage of the imminent market correction. He oversees a small, entrepreneurial team, focusing on the office, trade counter and multi-let industrial sectors.

He started his career in industrial agency on the south coast and in Bristol and qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1992. He joined IO Group in 1995, where he was director of the UK investment and development divisions, overseeing 130 industrial estates with a value of £700 million.

He then went on to join the quoted property company, Merivale Moore, to spearhead the expansion of the industrial portfolio. In 2003, he and his two co-directors successfully undertook a management buyout and formed Moorevale. In the summer of 2007 Jeff disposed of his interest in Moorevale, having achieved an average return on capital invested of more than 60% a year for the period.

He lives in Berkshire and enjoys shooting, horse racing and skiing.

ANDREW SCOTT - Director

Andrew joined the Dunmoore team in 2017 to help expand the portfolio and focus on driving the acquisition programme, particularly for multi-let and trade counter opportunities, while also undertaking asset management of the portfolio.

Having undertaken an MSc in real estate management and development at Heriot Watt University, he joined Bidwells’ industrial agency team in Cambridge, where he undertook a range of acquisition and disposal work, while obtaining his qualification as a chartered surveyor in 2016.

When not at work, he enjoys an active lifestyle and can be found playing a variety of sports including rugby, football, golf and squash.

JENIFER HERBERT - Assistant Accountant

Jen has a wealth of experience in all aspects of finance working for various companies in Newbury.

She joined the company in August 2020 and enjoys being part of a great team in an exciting property investment and development company. Working alongside Mark, Jen maintains the day to day financial transactions. In her spare time, Jen is passionate about competing her horse in dressage, showing and show jumping.

Algy joined Dunmoore in July 2022 to help source new opportunities and assist with the day to day running of the portfolio. He came to us having completed a masters in Real Estate at Reading University. Previously to this, he spent four years at the University of Edinburgh undertaking an MA in Business Management.

In his free time Algy enjoys watching and attending horse racing, Formula 1 and is also an avid mackerel fisherman.

Tomas has been part of the Dunmoore team since 2014 and now, as Managing Director, oversees the day to day running of the team and wider portfolio.

After completing his degree in estate management at Nottingham Trent, he returned to Wales and joined Emanuel Jones in Cardiff where he completed his qualification as a chartered surveyor in 2013.

Outside work, he turns his focus to a wide variety of sports including cricket, tennis, golf and table tennis. On the rare occasion when his diary is clear from work, he can often be found enjoying the bars and restaurants, particularly those that serve tapas and dim sum.

MARK GIBBON - Finance Director

Mark joined Dunmoore in December 2021 to lead the finance function and oversee the opportunities it faces as the business continues its stellar growth. After studying history at university he qualified as a chartered accountant in 2004 at a small firm in London. Mark then spent 10 years at Deloitte working in their corporate finance department working on PE transactions, IPOs and refinancing’s.

Latterly, he worked on secondment as a corporate finance advisor in the Department for Business Innovation and Skills helping to secure access to finance for SME’s. He then moved in the corporate world and served as Commercial Finance Director at property development company Alchemi Group, overseeing their finance function and trying to secure a £350m joint venture to further growth.

Lastly, as Finance Director at Cargiant, he ran a team of 12 people and oversaw the growth of the £0.5bn turnover business and helped lead the successful legal defence of the company against the Mayor’s CPO over the land.

When not at work, he enjoys an active lifestyle, including cycling and running, and spending time with his wife and two young boys.

CHRIS KERRISON - Development Surveyor

Chris joined Dunmoore in January 2022 to help build our development and investment portfolio by sourcing new opportunities and managing sites through to completion.

After 3 years at Reading University studying BSc Real Estate, Chris joined Montagu Evans and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2019. He worked within the Industrial Investment team on various acquisitions and disposals with a focus on London and the wider South East markets.

Chris’ weekends are often dominated by playing or watching different sports including rugby, football, golf and cricket.
