Cosgrove Way fully let

Following Dunmoore Group’s comprehensive program of refurbishment and sub division works, one of Lutons premier trade counter destinations, Cosgrove Way, has now been fully let.

The final remaining unit has been let to MWay Communications Ltd, a leading provider of highway technology services. The letting to MWay follows the recent addition of Maxshelf to the estate, which is now home to a number of national occupiers including Euro Car Parts, Magnet, TLC, Mr Clutch and Northgate Plc.

Max rent achieved in Luton

Maxshelf, the UKs largest importer and distributor of retail shelving, have completed the letting of 16a Cosgrove Way Industrial Estate, Luton.

The letting further enhances an already strong tenant line up on the estate which includes the likes of Euro Car Parts, TLC, Mr Clutch and Northgate.

The 5,388 sq ft unit, which has recently undergone a comprehensive refurbishment along with the rest of the estate, has been let on a 10 year term at a new headline rent of £9.50 per sq ft.

Planning success in Banbury

Great news to start the week after planning permission was obtained to fully refurbish and extend Marley Way Trade Park, Banbury.

The proposed refurbishment will include glazed frontages, open plan trading areas, level entry doors and much improved signage to the estate, and will provide 3,000 – 8,000 sq ft of much needed quality trade space to the local market.

Works are due to begin in early April, with a number of national occupiers already expressing an interest in the scheme which neighbours the likes of B&Q, Tile Giant, Homebase, Halfords and Grahams Plumbers Merchant.

Slovenian luxury door manufacturer Pirnar have taken the ground floor of Unit 1 at the Wireless Factory, Isleworth – the second letting to conclude on the estate in recent weeks.

The move represents an expansion for the brand, who also have a branch in Long Beach, California, and are a welcome addition to the estate which has benefited from an extensive refurbishment and re-branding campaign since it was acquired.

The 1,435 sq ft unit, which had previously been vacant for 8 years prior to Dunmoores acquisition of the estate, has been let on a 10 year term at a rent of £25 per sq ft.

Dunmoore land in Birmingham

Dunmoore are delighted to announce the acquisition of 24 Bennetts Hill, a mixed use investment comprising of office and leisure accommodation, located in the heart of Birmingham city centre.

The prominent 6 storey building, which measures nearly 20,000 sq ft, has been purchased for £4 million and equates to a net initial yield of 5.9%.

Investment Director Tomas Souto had this to say “We are delighted to have secured Bennetts Hill and enter what is an extremely buoyant and exciting market, in the UKs second largest city.  Birmingham has benefited from upwards of £1 billion worth of investment to its infrastructure and we feel it’s a location which will continue to grow – with the proposed city centre Paradise and Arena Central developments being prime examples of this.

Rents treble in Isleworth

A new headline rent has been achieved at The Wireless Factory, Isleworth following the successful letting of Unit 8.

The estate has undergone an extensive refurbishment program both internally and externally and now provides a spacious, modern and creative office environment for occupiers.

The 3,935 sq ft unit has been let to the DVSA on a 15 year term at a new headline rent of £25 per sq ft.

Rents increase by 60% in Exeter

A new headline rent has been achieved by Dunmoore on Hennock Trade Park, Exeter following the successful letting of Unit F.

The recently refurbished trade counter unit will be home to Karchers first Exeter branch following their expansion into the city.

The 2,384 sq ft unit has been let for a rent of £9.50 per sq ft which represents a rental increase of 60% from the previous letting.
